On offer is a Genuine Sheffield Assayed Sterling Silver Handled Letter Opener bearing the Georgian Pistol Pattern. The item has a steel blade with a mirror finish. Each Letter Opener is meticulously restored and silver finished to perfection.

The Silver Handle is hallmarked with the with the letter G for 1899 along with the Lion Passant, Crown and the Makers Mark JS - the mark for the sought after John Sanderson. The item is in fantastic condition for its age as the photos reflect, hallmarks are slightly rubbed. The Paper Knife is 21.5 cm in length and weighs 31 grammes.
