On offer is a Genuine Sheffield Assayed Sterling Silver Handled Letter Opener bearing the Chippendale Pattern. The item has a steel blade with a mirror finish. Each Letter Opener is meticulously restored and silver finished to perfection.

The Silver Handle is hallmarked with the with the letter M for 1911 along with the Lion Passant, Crown and the Makers Mark JB - the mark for the sought after John Biggin. The item is in fantastic condition for its age as the photos reflect, hallmarks are in pristine condition. The Paper Knife is 21.5 cm in length and weighs 43 grammes.
