On offer is a Genuine Birmingham Assayed Sterling Silver Handled Letter Opener bearing the Haywood Pattern. The item has a steel blade with a mirror finish. Each Letter Opener is meticulously restored and silver finished to perfection.

The Silver Handle is hallmarked with the date letter C for 1900, the Lion Passant, Anchor and the Makers mark which is W&H - for the sought after Walker & Hall. The item is in fantastic condition for its age as the photos reflect, hallmarks are slightly rubbed. The Paper Knife is 21 cm in length and weighs 42 grammes.
