On offer is a Genuine Sheffield Assayed Silver Handled Letter Opener in Old English Thread Pattern. The item has a steel blade with a brushed finish. Each Letter Opener is meticulously restored and silver finished to perfection.

The Silver Handle is hallmarked with the with the letter W for 1914 along with the Lion Passant, Crown and the Makers Mark JB - the mark for the sought after John Biggin.

The Paper knife is in fantastic condition as the images show. The hallmarks are in pristine condition. The item measures is 22 cm in length and weighs 41 grammes.
